As a graphic designer for Signcom, a commercial sign manufacturer, my professional work consists of renders for potential clients. These drawings are also for the fabricators to understand installation requirements and manufacturing specifications.
Using autocad for plotting and mapping
Being self-taught in this software, these projects are directed by personal interest as a means to tackle more complex processes. Mapping is a fascination of mine, and this is where my journey started. In both examples, the source material or references were oblique, meaning much of the scaling and setting of units fell upon my own research and calculations. This is also how I was able to implement my own creative flair.
